
Anjozorobe forest is the last primary forest of Antananarivo’s province. This Darwin’s promised land covers 66.500ha : over 400 types of plants, 11 species of lemurs, over 70 species of birds and many more endemic reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, which are amongst Madagascar’s best kept secrets.
We propose a wide range of excursions, from easy walk to difficult hikes, from 45 minutes to several hours. We can go througt the forest or visit the villages and the school. You can discover the surroundings through our signposted paths or ask for a guided excursion.

It is also possible to taylor-make excursions and do the nightly excursion, to see nocturnal lemurs, like the Rufous Brown Mouse Lemur (the smaller one), the Weasel Sportive Lemur, the Eastern Woolly Lemur and various chameleons.
